He is a member of the Prime Minister's Working Group on Fostering Innovation and Sustaining Competitiveness] and chairs the Ministry of IT's Working Group on Software Export. He also chairs the Asia Pacific Venture Capital Association the apex body for VC Associations of all countries in the APAC region Mr. Srivastava is a co founder and Past Chairman of NASSCOM the Indian software industry association President of TiE Delhi and on the global board of TiE the world's largest organisation devoted to Entrepreneurship.
